2017 Aldo Conterno Langhe – Piemonte-
Sometimes it’s best to start small, this wine is made by one of the most famous wineries in the region. Their top cuvees can reach close to $1000. Langhe Rosso made with Freisa, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its alluring and possibly leaning towards Grenache and Pinot Noir but thanks to CabSav a good punch when you don’t expected. The aromas of aniseed and herbecaous flavours never disappoint

Oh so mysterious- floral, dirty, classy and elegant… on the palate you get hit by tannins and acidity (talk about mouthfeel) So much is going on, but the best part is still the essence of what is so mysterious and captivating on the aroma. it displays red rose petals, fresh bitumen, dirty earthy and mushroom flavours with black cherry.
